(NEXSTAR) — These days, flying the skies can be anything but a pleasure. New data from J.D. Power shows that while overall airline customer satisfaction is still a bit bumpy, some particular airlines boast happier flyers.For the second year in a row, overall flyer satisfaction is down, with costs and fees being the biggest factor for consumers. That's according to J.D. Power's 2023 North America Airline Satisfaction Study, which ranked airlines based on responses from 7,774 people who flew between March 2022 and March 2023. Factors in the 1,000-point score include aircraft, boarding, check-in, cost and in-flight services. So who came out on top? The 10 ‘worst’ airports in US, according to analysts Here are J.D. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Some spots of Central Texas have received significant rain in the last few days, others haven't seen a drop. But the heaviest of the rain of the week is still to come.Scattered storms and showers are likely to continue east of I-35 this morning before gradually lifting away by this afternoon. A few isolated storms may linger late day, but more of today's rain activity come before noon.Thursday is trending mostly dry with only a few isolated showers/storms (20%). Then comes our main event Friday into Mother's Day weekend.A strong low pressure system stalls west of the state, drawing in near-record amounts of atmospheric moisture and sending disturbances over the state. AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin Police said a man is dead after officers found his body off Manor Road in east Austin late Tuesday night. Police said the man's death is being investigated as a homicide. This is the 28th homicide of 2023 in the City of Austin. MAP: Where have Austin’s homicides occurred in 2023? According to APD, officers were called at 11:29 p.m. to a report of gunshots being fired at the intersection of Manor Road and Rogge Lane. APD said officers checked the area and additional calls and information came in, and officers went to the 6200 block of Breeze Way, where they found the man with "obvious trauma to the upper body." First aid was given to the man but he died at the scene, according to APD.At the time of the media briefing around 2 a.m. Wednesday, police were not sure if a suspect was in custody or detained. GRANVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two Whitehall residents were arrested on Friday, with one allegedly possessing part of a firearm reported stolen from the Vermont State Police in 2014. ST. LOUIS - One woman accused in one of two Cherokee Street shootings over the weekend is now behind bars. Police arrested Amber Booker, 33, in the investigation into a shooting Saturday evening as a Cinco de Mayo festival was wrapping up for the day. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has identified another person of interest in this case, though has not yet disclosed their identity. St. Louis man says American Airlines lost prosthetic leg, won’t reimburse him The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Cherokee Street. Police say a woman was shot in the leg and the man suffered a graze wound to his upper thigh. Both victims were hospitalized, but are now in stable condition. Investigators say the victims were standing near an intersection and observing a fight amongst some men when one suspect began waving a handgun around. A teen boy is in critical condition after he was shot and run over by a car at a Canoga Park gas station early Wednesday morning.The unidentified victim, who was initially thought to be a man but was later determined to be a boy about 17 years old, was with a friend when they pulled up to an Arco gas station at Vanowen Street and Independence Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
